We will use the Step Up app to log every action and milestone, giving you real-time visibility of completed steps. This ensures everyone involved can track progress instantly, when you have completed sign up you will receive an email with the link to join the group on step up.

One-time payment: £15. The organisers are contributing £500 and the total will be split among participants who fully complete the course.

Who can take part for

To join the 300k walk a month you must meet the requirements below.

  • Be 18 years or older

  • Social Media Tag- Post at least twice during the month on a public social media account and tag Apex Healthcare Services.

  • Live within an RG postcode (UK)

  • Commit £15 for the month, which is added to the total pot.

    (The total pot is split with all participants who meet all the 4 criteria).

Do I need to be fit already?

Not at all. 300k walk a month is designed for a wide range of fitness levels, including people who currently walk very little. You set your starting point and grow from there.

How much time will it take each day?

Most people start with 15–20 minutes a day, split however suits them — for example a 10-minute stroll in the morning and 10 minutes in the evening. As you feel stronger, you can extend your walks if you wish.

What equipment do I need?

A comfortable pair of shoes and clothing you're happy to move in. A smartwatch or phone to track your steps that will sync to a mobile app.

Is this suitable if I have a medical condition?

If you have any existing health concerns or conditions, please speak with your GP or healthcare professional before starting any new activity. 300k walk a month is gentle, but individual circumstances vary, so it’s important to get advice that’s personal to you.

Why are the organisers doing this?

We are care company and genuinely care about our community. We feel the community can help bring awareness of our service by spreading the word, we have therefore used some of our marketing budget towards the challenge.
